How to choose a printing machine

The defect rate varies depending on maintenance and operation, but generally speaking, the defect rate increases in the order of laser printing machines, inkjet printing machines, and offset printing machines. The reason for this is that the principles of printing methods differ.
What kinds of defects can occur in printing?
For example, the following may occur

1. A part of the text is missing.
2. Double printing
3. Ink is transferred to other parts of the paper.

All of these can occur on an offset press, but only 1 and 3 can occur on an inkjet press, and only 1 can occur on a laser press.
This is one of the reasons for the high and low defect rates of each printing method.

In terms of running costs, UV laser printing is the best choice since it does not use ink or design rolls, and it is suitable for printing high priced products since the UV laser printing process rarely wastes products due to missing characters or double printing.
Although the price of the unit tends to be higher than other printing machines, UV laser printing is considered to be the best for long-term running costs.

What type of printing press is easy to operate?
Offset and inkjet printing presses that use ink need to be cleaned after each operation. In the case of offset printing presses, the design rolls and ink pans must be cleaned after each operation, and in the case of inkjet printing presses, the printheads of the inkjet system must be cleaned after each operation.
On the other hand, laser printing machines do not use ink at all, so they do not need to be cleaned for each operation, which makes them easy to operate.
